We are seeking a skilled and motivated Corporate Accountant to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional looking to advance their career, gain broad exposure to corporate accounting functions, and contribute to a collaborative finance department. While this role will begin onsite, a hybrid schedule may be available down the line.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
Maintain and analyze the general ledger to ensure accuracy and alignment with GAAP
Support preparation of financial statements, internal management reports, and supporting schedules
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
Support external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
Monitor and improve internal controls and accounting processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
Assist with special projects and process improvements as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in corporate or general accounting
Strong understanding of GAAP and standard accounting processes
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (ERP experience a plus)
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
